Project: Game Monetization Platform

Project Description:
The client is an on-line application development firm located in Singapore and it needed to build an interactive on-line platform for flash gamming communities. This work was outsourced to GTSS in July of 2008.
The project provides services for script program developers and game publishers to publish/advertise their video game products; and provides end users (consumers) to experience and purchase. The platform reduces the traveling, waiting and processing time, helping the administrator to organize, track, report and rank on such services.
After careful analysis and based on client’s requirements, GTSS decided to implement this platform using AMP (APACHE, MYSQL, PHP) technology. The main functional modules were included Authentication, Account Management, Upload and Broadcast, Game Access, Statistics, Forum, BBS, Blog, Shopping Cart, and the Administration. GTSS also implemented an automatic broadcasting function that allows game publishers to upload their products onto the platform and then automatically broadcast to well-known web sites (such as Youtube) via open API's. By using open API provided by Zazzle, GTSS also makes it possible for game publishers to produce customized art works for sale through Zazzle. In this project, GTSS has researched over 80+ web sites and an extensive development time was used to experience API behaviors that could meet client’s requirements.
