We are working on a project that needs to implement an auction bidding platform.

We need an experienced programmer knowledgeable about PHP, Ruby on Rails, Apache SQL/MySQL, etc. The point is you need to be comfortable with coding, software engineering, website design, and database management. We'd like to start by implementing some basic features: user login/registration, user customizable profiles, product categories, search, SMS/email notifications, and an infrastructure to keep track of and manage all the bidding action. Then we can work from there on how to extend everything.
