We are developing a chat application and website that will allow users to register for online chat events and submit questions for the event ahead of time. Users will be linked to the chat event registration from a host website, and registration will occur on the chat app website. At the specified date and time of the chat, users will be able to login to view the chat. The chat will be seen on the host website by way of an iframe that will pull the chat from the chat app website. The chat itself will be run from a Flash application (being developed), but a user should only be able to see that chat (Flash app) if they’re logged in and it’s within 30 minutes of when the chat is scheduled to begin.

The main components that will require implementation will be:
1. Link tracking from the host site. (The site ID and chat ID will need to be included in that link and persistently tracked via a cookie and/or session.)
2. Chat website signup/login. (This is already in place, but will need to be extended.)
3. Chat event registration. (Users have to be logged in to the chat website in order to register for events.)
4. Chat question submission.
5. Admin panel for maintaining relationships between host sites (venues) and chat events, auto-generating links for host sites to use, and admin for questions for chat events
