We have a job application website for our tutoring business that was built using Ruby on Rails. We are not happy with the current website and with Rails, so we want to rebuild and improve the website using php. The current website is here: http://www.tutorjobs.net . 

Our goal is that the new website would have the following features:

---Job seekers (JS) will visit the website where they will see a home page with our business banner/logo and a brief introduction.

---JS will be asked to either 1) fill out a new job application or 2) edit an old job application

---If the JS clicks "Edit Old Application" they should be given the opportunity to login to the website and access and edit their previously-submitted application.  

---If the JS cannot remember his/her login/password, then he/she should be able to submit an email address where the login/password will be sent. 

---If the JS clicks "Fill Out New Application" they will be asked to choose their location from a list of cities. 

---Once the JS has selected a city, they will be directed to a job application that is specific to their city. The application will ask the JS to provide information about their 1) Name 2) Home Address 3) Work Address 4) Email Address 5) Phone Number 6) Universities 7) Degrees Obtained 8) Major Field 9) Grade Point Average 10) Academic Honors 11) Teaching/Tutoring Experience 12) Other Work Experience and 13) Relevant Training 14) Criminal History and Consent to Undergo a Background Check. 15) In addition, the JS will see a list of academic subjects and will be asked to check a box next to each subject that they can tutor. 16) The JS will also see a list of neighborhoods, and they will be asked to check off all of the neighborhoods where they are willing to travel for tutoring assignments.

---When the JS has completed the application, they will click "submit application." When they do this, the website should automatically generate an account for the JS with their email address as the login and an auto-generated password. The website should email this login and password information to the JS' email address.

---The website needs to be set up so that in the future, the JS can return to the website, login, and edit/update or delete their job application.

---The website needs to store all of the applications in a searchable database.

---The website must be set up so that managers can login to the system and search, edit, and delete all of the submitted job applications. 

---When a manager visits the site, the manager will be asked to select their city (these cities will correspond to the cities that the JS were asked to select) and login.

---Once a manager is logged in, the manager must be able to search the job applications in a variety of ways--1) the manager should be able to conduct a master keyword search for all of the text in every section of the application; 2) the manager must be able to search the individual sections of the application by keyword and also be able to search multiple sections of the application at the same time by entering different keywords in the search fields for each of the sections. (for example, the manager may enter a keyword in the University field, another keyword in the Work Experience field, and another keyword in the Honors field and then conduct a search. 3) the manager must also be able to conduct searches by checking subject boxes and location boxes. This search based on checked boxes must be able to be combined with various keyword searches. 

---The website must be able to store thousands of job applications, and this storage must be secure. 

---This person who does this project will be responsible for doing the behind-the-scenes php programming and also for producing a polished, ready-to-use website with a simple, professional design accompanied by our company branding. When you are finished, we want to be able to immediately launch the website for JS to begin filling out job applications. The design can copy the existing design of the current website.

---Our current website (tutorjobs.net) has some of the features mentioned above. You can visit this website and even fill out a fictional job application to see how the current site works. But we are not happy with the way the current website was built, and we no longer want to have a rails-based website. This is why we want to rebuild and improve the entire website using php. 

---We would like the project to be completed within a month. 

---After the project is completed, we would like the person who does this job to be available to provide us support and repairs if the website has problems.
