Our company is looking for someone to build a function using PHP that can grab the NBA game schedule and corresponding spread betting data and insert that info into a mysql database. The spread betting data is the number of points the favored team needs to win by in order for that team to "cover the spread." This data is released once each day, so the function/script would need to automatically grab this data and insert it into the db each day. We're looking for someone who can build this quickly and efficiently using clean, quality code. After the successful completion of this project there is an opportunity for the right developer to work on several more similar projects.
