Have installed SOBI2 and am looking to use it as follows:

My site will have a subscription button (custom thumbnail) that leads through to PayPal to create a monthly recurring subscription.

While setting up the PayPal sub, the following needs to happen automatically for the incoming user:

1. a query to Joomla to create Credentials


2. a query to SOBI2 to create a default listing for the new user, which is linked to the Joomla Credentials.

Then the payment confirmation email (auto return) should come through with the new Credentials and the link for the new user to end up at the login page to go directly to editing only their new listing (Author access?)

No free listings are offered and only one payment option is required.

Additional Info (Added 11/29/2009 at 16:57 EST)... Expansion to above description:

the Joomla site (almost finished) has two modules to run business directories:

1. Jomres, a booking module for accommodation

2. SOBI2 as a simple business listing directory

A) We need to finish integrating AMBRA subscriptions to process the PayPal subscription payments.

B) Both processes have to work as above, whereby AMBRA creates both the Joomla Creds (which is standard and exists in the program) AND the Property listing (with simple default settings) in both SOBI and Jomres (they work slightly different, hence require different approaches)

Baiscally the client clicks on the thumbnail to choose their respective package to subscribe to and get taken via AMBRA subscriptions to PayPal whilst in the background the Joomla Creds and Directory Property listings get created, BEFORE the confirmation email or URL Auto Return from PayPal comes back.

We have almost completed the Jomres tie-in, which can be taken as a guideline, however for functionality need to run a few slightly amended version of the script.

b)


The SOBI2 tie-in is similar and we only need to identify the function of creating a default property automatically in the PayPal process.

A completion date of Dec. 7 is desired and will be rewarded with an additional $50 bonus.
