We're looking to develop a user generate newsaggregaton site exactly similar to hnytimes, CNN or Guardian. Now this is not user generated but we want presenation and interface similar to this.

Also, it would have two tabs of the tab 1) Stories and 2) news.


The stories wouldbe those which are hosted on my site and we own them while news would be mostly aggregated conten from other sites.

- The presentation would be almost similar.


- User experience should be almost similar.


- Besides us, USERS can also post newsby themselvs.


- User can see preview of the news like they do on cnn pulse.


- Afte uer click on the news, user will land of that news page which will display the news briefing and comments. If its my story,the whole story would be displayed while if it was just external link then what ever was in the "briefing" wouldbe displayed along with link to "full story"


- There should be provision to sort top stories today, from yesterday and this week.

As we would like to install some free tools like 'stats view' etc I would prefer it to b build in joomla, wordpress or drupal as we know there are thousands of free modules which you can install. If you think it can better be built on other platforms let us know and please mention when you bid. Basically we want a scalable product.

How much exact replication you would be able to achieve.
