This is a re-post of my original project, with a better defined scope of work. Open to all bids once again.

Before reading further - the winning programmer(s) will need to be able to design as well as code. Am providing a "guideline website" to help the process along. Also, I really do not want there to be any sort of language barrier - so fluent english please.

I have a Joomla site which I just developed (template based) which needs an SEO campaign and content feeds programmed while re-designing & creating for higher end look & feel. The site is for my Computer Consulting business, small but growing, possibly franchised someday. Right now it's your basic Joomla site - using the Epic Pro Template.

"You never get a second chance to make a first impression". So very true.

As my first impression to everyone on the web - I would love to give it a high end Flash landing page, transition, overhaul, or mix thereof. The words simple and elegant come to mind. Pictures could be used within the site (as part of the project, you include) instead of having to Graphic design. I do have a professionally done ad that can / should be included somewhere. SEO is very important, I had originally wanted to go all Flash - but many of you talked me out of it because of the Flash / SEO issue.

This project will include you programming in as much SEO as possible, and providing me advice as to what I can do on my side to help rank my site among the top searches (Google Accounts, Social Networking, etc.).

I am a computer professional by trade - but not programmer. I do know Joomla (via templates), enough PHP to be dangerous, some DB experience - but do not have the programming skill sets to bring this project all together. You'll be freely able to talk techie to me and I will understand.

I want this to become a 'destination site", meaning that clients and visitors will return again and again for updated information - to keep on top of technology, purchase a few basic products, etc.. So the use of RSS feeds or whatever other technology you can think of to include is welcome. My target customers are the Home User, Home Office, and Small Business markets.

I'd like this site to include a simple but sharp shopping cart - for items to be sold not via affiliate links. I do have some affiliate links - am sure these are as easy as cut and paste to include. I'm setup to take PayPal already.

If interested, I can provide my site, and my friends Flash based site that I'd like to "replicate as much as possible" using Joomla / Flash / mix thereof. Hers has a very high end look and feel about it - and is what I'm after for my site. (When I provide you the links, you will see what I mean and understand).

I do have a logo, business card, and brochure all branded together. I would send PDF copies of all of these for he programmer(s) to see if they could or should be incorporated in to this project. I was thinking the ability for the customer to download my brochure might be nice (PDF flip).

From previous feedback I have a good idea of budget and have provided below. I'm ready to go right away, but am looking for quality over speed to produce. Pls provide feedback and / or if it sounds like a match - I will provide URL's to the site(s) mentioned above if it clicks on my side.

From there, you can take a look and see if you think you can tackle the job, providing feedback. I'd very much like to arrange to see some basic layouts before jumping in all the way - and can provide payment for your time. Just a basic outline (visual & technical direction) of how you would work towards the end so I know we're on the same page - I hope this makes sense.
