A start up music management company is looking for a clear and easy to use web presence. The web site will provide a service primarily intended for working musicians without access to tour management services.

The website shall be able to:
-maintain a database of venues for live music
-provide a simple user interface where a customer can log in, and create virtual tours based on venues, cities, other bands. Any of these sources might be used as a starting point to create the tour or group of shows
-provide a map based interface (using google maps) which is able to display the venues and other important information
-provide a framework for saving tours and information for each venue (keeping notes)
-provide a social networking type environment where bands can contact other bands and fans based on regions and/or type of music

We can provide very detailed information on workflows and programming requirements (suggested use of cakePHP). We already own the web space and have design requirements (colors, etc...) completed.
