We require a simple iPhone Point of Sale System.

Timing is crucial (needs to be done and tested by Sep 15th)

Basic functions include:

- Cashier/Store login screen
- Multipage categories & items grid
- Current sale summary (ticket preview)
- Ticket printing wirelessly to a STAR TSP-100 LAN ticket printer (SDK for iOS provided by STAR)
- Payment method and ammount received entered with a custom numeric keyboard (big buttons)
- IMPORTANT: Sales should be reported to a web server asynchronously (i.e. if internet is disconnected sales are stored in iPhone until the connection is re-established). This may be done via HTTP POST requests or Web Services

Other considerations:

- Layout and design of the screens should be nice and smooth, but ist's not priority.
- Full, well documented source code and support should be provided for further development

Notes: For Sept 15th the items catalog may be preinstalled for ad-hoc distribution, although it is desirable that the product catalog, as well as some basic configuration can be downloaded from the web server (e.g. by providing a username and password on the initial setup)
