We need a "hybride" app based on jqtouch to be running on android and iphone.
The app won't use anything except HTML5 incl. local data storage.
It is meant to be a demo app which helps us to find the right developer for our application in the future.
One of our senior developers will check the sourcecode against bugs or performance issues. The following project has to be started in early December. That's why we are in hurry to find the right guy asap.

You can save your time. References of other clients are uninteresting for us. We rate on the results for this pilot project, your response time/email-communication and seriousity. Deadlines are very important for our client. When a deadline is missed, the job will be canceled.

I know that this task sounds like stupid school homework or like a part from apple dev certification exam. If you think, it takes you longer than few hours, do not bid on this project beecause you wouldn't be the right programmer for the job then. It's nothing but essential features that could be copy&paste from some tutorials about jqtouch/HTML5. We will run the project source with iOS SDK (iOS3+) and Android SDK.
As image files you can use any sample images and again: no design artwork required here...

Description:
1. After starting the app, lets show an image in fullscreen, loading animation.
2. Next, we come into the main menu with 5 options:
2.1 "News Overview": load and show http://mobil.welt.de/home.do?li=1
2.2 "Latest jQtouch Demo": load and show http://www.jqtouch.com/preview/demos/main/
2.3 "Download to local storage": This will provide offline usage for 2.1 to 2.3. The "download..." button is only enabled if the smartphone is online currently.
2.4 "Info": This shows a (local) html-info page "info.html"
From each section, you can go back to the upper menu by clicking a "back" button on top as it is common way for apps.
2.5 "Exit": Close the app. No goodbye-screen or similar required.

3.1 jqtouch->default animation: flip
3.2 make sure the HTML5/jqtouch page is auto-fit, no matter how/which smartphone is helt.
3.3 when using any additional library or source snippets, make sure it is MIT licenced and do NOT remove the copyright link which was illegal, even for opensource!
3.4 Make sure that the HTML5/jQTouch part is exactly the same for both versions, the android and iphone version. You should know how hybrid apps are build!
