The application is a bar and event finder. Bar locations can be determined by GPS or
AGPPS.

Events are supposed to be pushed, or pulled via a feed from our site using a key.

1. We would like to have bar locations displayed on a map and also the current
location of the handheld user.

2. We would like to have the ability to update bar information. Therefore on
first load of the application and every 5 to 10 days after, this information
should also be pulled from our site using a key. Include a force refresh button
If you have a preference on how this information should be represented,
please tell us.

b. Location; long and lat
c. Address
d. Hours of business
e. Brief description

3. We would like to have the ability to list events. Event information should
include:
a. Name
b. Location;
c. Address
d. Description
e. Start and End time of event
f. Events should be automatically expired.

4. We would like the app to display a news feed, eg a Twitter feed, within the
app.

5. We would like the app to support barcodes, so that we would be able to track
customers for participation in promotions such as free or discounted entry to
events, etc.

6. The ability to record, optionally, the user’s email address. We would not need
the ability for users to create accounts to access the app’s features. Only the
email address need be recorded.

7. The ability for users to report a location where the product is not currently
available.

8. There would be a refresh timeout, which would automatically refresh the
news feed within the app. Also, there would need to be a Force Refresh menu
item for the user to manually refresh the feed.

9. Facebook “Like” button which would open the appropriate page in the phone
browser.
