Data Module

What is required is customization of the WIS.RO module, including:

“Arabization” of user interaction (Arabic language, RTL layouts)
Define main-page displays
Add MENA markets data
Overview:

The data module
Displays key financial data in various forms (main-pages, dedicated pages)
Provides technical analysis tools
Provides “My Portfolio” customized data
Integrates fully with site personalization
Works within the overall Joomla CMS
The financial data includes: Global & MENA stock markets, Foreign Currencies, Commodities.
Data Sources: Given to winning bid.

Markets Module

Display

The data module main pages display area should be 375px by 305px
Overall module includes:
Line of regional tabs: USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East
i. ME tab – different color

ii. Tab order: in international markets, USA tab open; in regional markets, ME tab open.Search box for companies, index or fund data

Graphs display area
List of key indices for each region. On mouseover for each index, the appropriate graph is displayed in the graphs display area. Clicking on index line sends users to the page for this specific index.

Search functionality:

Accept:
Partial or complete company names, stock symbols
For all items in database (stocks, bonds, indices, commodities, forex, etc.)
English & Arabic
Search results:
If there is an exact match between inputed search and Symbol or name, go directly to the “drilldown” page for that item
If several items match inputed search, go to search results page that lists matches.
1. List results by highest matching first

2. Priority to ticker symbol results

Search results page to include:

1. Search narrowing function: specify region, specify if company name or symbol

2. list for each result: symbol, company, exchange, country

3. For large number of results, Display on multiple pages, with up to 20 results per page

“Drilldown” page

contains materials on specific companies, indices, funds, etc.

Page includes combination of data (from module) and content (from CMS)
Integrate the data display into the overall page
Include technical analysis tools and historical prices (part of WIS RO)
CMS content includes static (logo and description) and tagged items(sorted into areas by type, newest content displayed first)
