We are looking for an experienced CI Designer that truly understands the concept of design. In essence, we are looking for the right "logo" for our company and we are NOT willing to accept "run of the mill". Please, only professional experienced designers need apply, and we are not in a hurry. If you are one of the many providers that spams these projects with bids, please move on.

REQUIRED FOR BIDDING:

Please submit work examples depicting full Corporate Identity design, at a minimum we want to review Logos, Letterhead and Business Cards.

THE JOB:

We are not concerned over budget, quality is the only factor here. We will be asking the winning bidder to deliver in two phases...

Phase 1: The Logo. Our company is a software development company, focused on a wide range of applications. We are known for taking a "skunk works" type of approach, and as such have officially named the company as: "The Basement Factory" We are looking for just the right logo for the company, and will need several submissions. We expect that for Phase 1 of the delivery process, you will be prepared to provide a total of 50 initial concepts (yes, 50) from which we will narrow down to approximately 10 concepts for further refinement. This will not be 1 concept mutated 50 times with the only variance in typeface. We are looking for DISTINCT concepts and ideas to help make this company come alive. As a final step, there may be additional fine-tuning to the final logo, so please make allowances for this activity. In addition, you may explore a custom font... i.e. convert to curves and transform, but please advise where this has been done.

The Final Deliverable will be a CS4 Adobe Illustrator File (we will acquire/purchase whatever fonts are specified).

Phase 2: Business Cards / Letterhead. Upon approval of Phase 1, we will begin Business Card and Letterhead design. We expect 10 samples of each to be submitted for further refinement. Please anticipate 3 rounds of design refinement at a minimum, each time reducing the number of submissions. For this process I would suggest 10/3/1 (with possibly 2-3 iterations on the final).
