We are looking to build a virtual computer store.

The user will be able to browse the products catalogue, add/remove products to/from the shopping cart, purchase products, view the special offers, sign up for the newsletter. When the user has made an order, the user will be able to view the status of the order.

Overall Requirements

• Code should be: Clean, SEO friendly, CSS based design, Varied width, Cross Browser (IE, FF, Opera, Safari)
• Full infrastructure for adding and managing text in different languages
• Ajax wherever possible.
• Correct DB design.
• Correct caching policies.

Conditions

• If this is the first project with the provider, no down payment will be provided.
• The project will be broken down into weekly milestones. If one of the milestones is not complete on time, the project will be cancelled. Each milestone will contain functional modules of the system; hence in the end of each milestone, the respective modules are expected to run fully.
• We keep the right to work with our own graphical designer. If you would like to suggest you own designer, we would need to work with him/her directly. Several design schemes will be provided to select the appropriate one.
