We are looking for someone experienced with Drupal who will be able to put together a professional site for us. We already have the front end designed and laid out in layered psd files. Our developer should be experienced in efficient and standard compliant programming.

Much of our functionality will be similar to www.highdeas.com with a bit more customized look and less of a standard drupal appearance.

We are very technical with some drupal understanding ourselves and are willing to work very close with the developer, if you are well-versed with drupal this will be an easy task and we will pay for future modifications.

Please have a portfolio available with previous work, if you would prefer to do this with another CMS we are open to that but would prefer drupal and feel it is the best platform for its features.

Operation:

Users should be able to log in and post twitter length stories.

All posted stories must be approved by admin.

We would like the ability to have automatic embedding properties like facebook (when a url is entered it includes a thumbnail/video and a small description).

Users should be able to log in with facebook connect and if possible twitter/other common login gateways.

Users will be able to rate stories up or down like digg.
Stories will be able to be organized by best/worst of the day, week, month.

Comments will also be able to be rated and the top highest ranked comments should appear below the story on the comment page (like youtube).

There are a few jquery animations we would like and we are really looking to have the site operate with as much ajax and as little refreshing as possible.
