We need a Rails MVC web application which is similar in functionality to lynda.com (we don't need all the functionalities in lynda.com) with the following user scenario:
- User A (who is flagged as a Seller) will create a post with a video
- Any user will be able to see the list of videos for sale. The listing page will have the video thumbnails on one column and a buy button on the second column
- User B (who is flagged as a buyer) can preview few seconds of the video and click the buy button upon which he/she will be prompted to a payment page (we already have the payment page designed and developed).
- Once the User B completes the payment, he/she is added as someone who has access to view the video posted by User-A
- User-B gets a link in his email to view the video

We will provide complete architectural specifications, database schema and the basic MVC framework.

Please provide us your Rails portfolio of web applications developed in the past.

Please also provide us with an initial approximate total estimate (ballpark estimate) for this project (based on the given requirements) so that we could pre-screen the candidates. The estimate could be total fixed cost or number of estimated hours for completing the project + hourly rate. This is just a ballpark approx. estimate to help us pre-screen the candidates.

The ideal candidate will have strong MVC fundamentals.
