What I want is a fairly typical To Do list application. Users will enter tasks, events or notes that can be displayed in a calendar or list view. The list view should be fully searchable and sortable (by priority, due date, date created, etc.) I will supply all graphics.

Attention should be paid here for the features that are essential to the project:

1. Calendar text should display in a custom condensed typeface that I will provide in true type or open type format.

2. Calendar and list views should be controlled by gestures with animated transitions between pages.

3. Users should be able to backup data to google docs and events should sync with google calendar.

4. Application should be able to provide push notifications for tasks and appointments. It should also take advantage of new background notification features in OS 4.0 for devices that support it.

5. The calendar view should display custom graphics for predefined holidays.

6. There will be free and paid versions of the application. The free version will be ad supported and allow for in app purchase of the paid version.

7. Users should be able to create custom categories/folders for notes.

We are ideally looking for a long-term partner who can help us continue to update the application, and work with us to develop related applications for the iPhone and iPad.
