I am a University of Oxford student (Oriel College) and alumna of Phillips Exeter Academy seeking freeIance writing jobs. While new to this website, I have extensive experience in both creative writing (publications listed below) and in analytical work, both through two summer research assistantships (to the Ralph Waldo Emerson Institute and to Pulitzer-shortlisted historian David Fromkin (author of "A Peace to End All Peace," among other titles), respectively) and through my work as a student of the humanities at Oxford.
Previous publications include stories in the literary journals: "Relief," "Imagine," "The Orphan Leaf Review," "The Apprentice Writer," "8x8," "The Copperfield Review," and "The Best Teen Writing of 2004" and "...2006," plus several National Gold Scholastic Writing Awards. Academic research has also been published by the Ralph Waldo Emerson Institute Press. I was also the winner of the 2006 New Hampshire High School Fiction Contest and a semi-finalist in the 2007 Young Playwrights Institute new writing contest, sponsored by Stephen Sondheim.
Further academic publication includes a study of Ralph Waldo Emerson's journals during his study in Europe, compiled as part of a summer research internship at the Ralph Waldo Emerson Institute and published by the Ralph Waldo Emerson Institute Press.
