( how could we spend more than US$50,000 to develop a simple pin-adding application based on google api ? ) i wrote this requirement again : 1. Frontend Functions 1.1 user login (to use the other functions , login is required) / register / logout / simple profile modify 1.2 map browsing: display maps of different levels , zoom in/out with mousewheel (maybe keyboard +/-), move to other areas with dragging 1.3 add mark to the map (can be seen immediately(almost) , by other users whose browsing area includes the marked location) 1.4 broadcast a message (can be seen immediately(almost), by other user whose browsing area's center is near of the message sender's browsing center (like 1km etc.), ) about 1.4 you can imagine that each user is a person stands on the map, when he changing browsing area, the person moves. if the map distance between two persons is less than 1km, then can hear the broadcast send by another one. 2. Backend (management) Function like public users, administrator can: 2.1 add/delete public marks to the map 2.2 broadcast to whole map or some special area and of course a simple 2.3 user management and 2.4 upload map resources you should tell us which stardard the map resource's format use. and you should give us a tool that generating the formatted map from origin image. ( if the map format is opensource stardard, i think there should be many opensource software to do this. bu if the format is your private, an availble tool is required)
