Thank you for your interest in building the fitivity iPhone application. We will be finishing up the Android version that is described below within the next week or so. However, I have provided a description of the application below and have attached some wireframes so you can further understand the user experience. Fitivity Version #1, Milestone #1OverviewFitivity it is a location-based application that helps people discover, organize and participate in group physical activities like pick-up sports, group exercise and other recreational activities. With fitivity, users join groups based on their specific activity interest and location. Example: Basketball at the YMCA Boston. Being part of a group allows users to be able to receive push notifications whenever an activity is created. Fitivity allows people to be able to organize that pick-up basketball game down the street or find a running group to help you stay motivated. Here is a description of the three tags: Discover, Activity, Profileâ??Discoverâ?? - Each time a new group is created, an activity is proposed, or people join a specific event â?? this information gets pushed to the â??discoverâ?? feed to allow other people to find it. These are buttons that allow people to access the specific group or the specific activity created. â??Activityâ?? â?? This is how users start groups. They must first choose their activity and then a location that corresponds with that activity. Example: Boxing at the Kneller Gym. We use Google places to populate this list of locations. â??Profileâ?? - A users profile contains a picture, username, and a directory for a user to quickly access any groups they are apart of. Additional Info: - Users can choose to get push notifications to their phones when group activities are proposed in their specific groups.- Users can log on via facebook- When users propose activities â?? it is all text based.
