Description:Convert remaining 49 Lessons from Mr.Circuit 1,2,3 to Flash (48 of 97 already completed)We have an Educational software package created in 1993 that runs on DOS (but can be run in Windows up to Windows Vista). It also runs well in DOSBox.The goal of this job is to convert / re-do the remaining Mr.Circuit 1, 2, and 3 lessons ONLY. You will not have to convert any of the other modules or lessons. Convert the lessons to Flash so that they function and behave exactly as in the old version. The graphics and simple animations (based on 640x480) are to be the same or better (this will significantly reduce the work load), and can be taken from the old application using whatever technique(s) you have at your disposal. The final product must be vectorized (scalable) graphics. (See attached ppa27_completed_example.swf for a completed example)Each Lesson (corresponding to separate folder names in the original software distribution), must be exportable as its own independent Flash “swf”. Lessons must be completed in order from first to last. The DOS version uses the PC-speaker to create beeps and blips. These sounds must be recreated to sound similar.There are 49 lessons left to do in Mr.Circuit 1, 2, and 3. (See EKI_Progress_Lessons.xls) Each lesson has 1-5 parts such as “Component Description” and “Laboratory Simulation”. Each part contains a number of “slides” or “next states”. Each “next state” add/changes some text, part of an image, and/or does an animation. (See screenshots).Some lessons include a “quiz” part. The first slide of every quiz asks the user to input a student ID. You must be able to compute the “grade” for each quiz by summing up the correct answers just as is done the original software. We have technical instructions on how to transmit this grade to the host web application.The project you deliver to us must include all source code and any media required for us extend and/or change the project using commercial Adobe software. Included with the completed project must be a written guarantee that “EKI” will hold copyright to all of this work and that you will not sell, give, or provide any of this content to another party.To run demo of original software:Available from www.scybolt.com/files/ekiprep.zip is the DEMO version of the application. This will give you a good feel for the scope of the project. Contact us to get the full version which includes all the lessons if you need it to do a more accurate bid estimate. Helpful note: In the demo application provided, enter a “student id” of “eki123” to access the quizzes.Bonus: You may learn something about electronics and circuits by doing this project!To run the demo application directly: (Does not include all modules – mostly only “EDL3” of Mr.Circuit I)In Windows Vista or earlier, the zip file must be extract to the root of a drive. (The batch files only work that way). Then run the EKI.bat file in X:[backslash]ekiprep[backslash]EKI.bat (Where X is any drive letter).To run the demo application in DOSBOX:Extract the zip file to something like C: [backslash]tomount. Run DOSBox and type “mount c c: [backslash]tomount[backslash]” and hit enter. Now switch to the C drive by typing “C:”. The drive should now have an ekiprep folder. Change to that folder by typing “cd ekiprep”, and then run “eki.bat”.What we are looking for:We are looking for a team capable of converting these lessons into scalable vectorized Flash for a low price and with minimal overhead. Due to the volume and time constrains a 2 or more full-time developers would be ideal. Payment milestones can be set for each 2-5 lessons completed according to your bid.
