<br />-What I need done:<br /><br />Design and create a print catalog using product images from company website. (from <span title="This information has been obscured for non-paying members"><font size="0.1em" color="#AAAAAA">&nbsp;&nbsp;[obscured]&nbsp;&nbsp;</font></span> )<br /><br />We are a reseller of product from this company, so the look and feel of our catalog should NOT match that of the website, feel free to come up with a totally new/creative design/layout.<br /><br />You will need to take the images from the company website and arrange and design them into a print catalog.<br /><br />We are open to suggestions on the best option to present the products from website in catalog format. (I.e. the placement/size/layout of the products on each page is up to the design and creativity of the designer.) However we would like the following to be considered:<br /><br />Catalog Specific Details:<br /><br />-Catalog will be delivered as digital print-ready files.<br />-Print-ready files must be submitted using any of the following formats: (just one); .eps, .pdf, .ps, .psd, .tif.<br />-catalog size: 8 1/2'' x 11''<br />-catalog will be in full color 4/4<br />-catalog requires a 0.25" bleed around the perimeter of artwork (that's 0.125" to each side of your artwork)<br />-the print-ready file must have Color mode in CMYK.<br />-image resolution must be at least 300 dots per inch (DPI) at the final output size.<br />-Fonts, transparencies and other effects used in vector format softwares (Illustrator and InDesign) must be flattened and the fonts outlined.<br />-Print-ready files should be sent through elance escrow.<br /><br />Other considerations:<br /><br />** There are about 550 different products from the website that needs to be included into the catalog.<br /><br />**The products vary in different sizes, so it is up to your creativity and style to decide how small you want to make them to fit them on the pages.<br /><br />**PAGES: Anywhere from 40 to 60 pages is ideal; depending on your style and design of catalog. (You will need to take a look at the website and make that determination.) (Maximum is 72 pages)<br /><br />***Products should be arranged and organized by 11 category types, each page should have a label or title of category (placement/style is up to designer).<br /><br />The 11 categories from website to be put into catalog are: Clocks, Chandeliers, Elephants, Floral Centerpiece, Fruit Centerpiece, Lamps, Pedastal/Planters, Vases, Wishing Wells.<br /><br />*Next to each product should also include in text, the dimensions, item number, and price under the product (font size/color is open to your creative ideas)<br /><br />*Catalog should be designed with the theme, elegance, genre of the beauty showcasing porcelain and ceramics for the home.<br /><br />*We would also need an order form created and included inside the catalog. (Design is negotiable - we need help on this area)<br /><br />*We would need our company information, telephone number, etc. included on each page, so text is required. (preferably on the bottom of each page)<br /><br />*Source of Product photos used in catalog will be taken from website.<br /><br />NOTE: The stock images from the website are on black background. Cropping the black background away is allowed -- it doesnt matter to me, you decide.<br /><br />-Specific expertise that I am seeking: Expertise in any or all of the following design software programs: Adobe Photoshop® CS, Adobe Illustrator® CS, Adobe InDesign® CS, Adobe PageMaker, Macromedia Freehand®, QuarkXpress®.<br />--Experience in creating a print catalog preferred.<br />--Experience in design and layout is a plus.<br /><br />Communication preferences: Through Elance PMB with one formal weekly status report through through Elance PMB.<br />Budget: up to $1000USD.<br />Work Type: Fixed Fee<br />Payment Terms: Terms negotiable, payable through Elance Escrow<br />-Timeframe for delivery: 1 week - 1 month (time can be extended if needed)<br /><br />Please provide sample catalogs.
