<br />We are looking to have a application to be developed that can be used in a retail store by customers and also later available to customers online via website link.
<br />Refer below for more detail but a snapshot of the appication is:
<br />It is used by a picture framer to show a customer how their picture will look like when it is framed.
<br />Step 1 A image of what the client wants framed is uploaded into the application.
<br />Step 2 From a database of frames and mats the client is able to "visualise" their item framed on screen.
<br />Step 3 The final choice is then priced by values held in the database of frames and mats using the dimensions of the artwork to be framed.
<br />Step 4 The sale is recorded in a point of sale (POS) style application

<br />The inital application wil be used in store by staff with the view that it will be attached to the compaines web site when further refined.
<br />As the customer demographic for the bsuiness is women 35-60, it must be very user friendly.
<br />For an example of the application refer <span title="This information has been obscured for non-paying members"><font size="0.1em" color="#AAAAAA">&nbsp;&nbsp;[obscured]&nbsp;&nbsp;</font></span> However the only module required by us is the "Frame and Mat" only.
<br />The application will fundamently the same as the refered Frame and Mat application other than it will need to be very very user friendly with explanations thougtout the use of the application. (these should be able to be added to and edited by us)
<br />Aside from what you can see at yourframer.com.au, it obvouisly has a database of products to select from, and a backend pricing module. We would also require it to have a simple Point of sale module (POS) for when the sale is completed in th eretail store there would be a module that would collect client data and process the sale in store.
<br />This module would have reporting and/or exporting functionality.
