We are a company that aim to build a relationship with a team of designers/programmers to ensure a long lasting relationship, as website design, SEO and project management are now a core aspect of our company.

We require a modern/funky themed e-commerce site designed using elements Ajax and Flash were applicable . It will need to be a hybrid e-commerce HTML/Flash site for SEO purposes. We have a concept sketch drawn of the site (3 tier - Homepage, Category and Landing) but we are open to suggestions/ideas on the design elements.

The site will be selling unique novelty items. The emphasis is firstly on usability and secondly on the experience of the site. It needs to be a memorable experience for the visitor with innovative features without it being too overwhelming.

Site Features/Overview:

- 3-Tier structure
- Modern/cool/funky site design
- CMS for updating products and SEO
- PHP not ASP
- Homepage we envisage having an alternating banner per category (3 or 4 categories)
-Fancy Zoom for landing page (with multiple pictures of product)
- Breadcrumbs Navigation
- Video Embed for landing page
- Login/Cart function
- Social Media Links (icons to Facebook and Twitter to "Like" for example)
- Related Items functions (when viewing products)
- Paypal "Buy Now" button. We will move to Credit Card Merchant account in the future however
- "Group Buy" button adjacent to the Paypal button which allows a discount for purchases of 5 or more of the same item (on landing page)
- Search function in site
- Multiple postage options (3) Express, Registered and Standard
- Reminder Option for registered users. For instance id they log in, add a few items to cart and then close the page - They will be sent an email reminding them of the items still in the cart 5 fays later (for example)

Basic page overview

- Homepage: Static category down lefthand side (as well as Menu Nav Bar below header) Four rectangular buttons above the fold will be the categories, and must have alternating images (flash preferred) Once clicked on, this lists the products/items in that category (This layout will remain static (menu/header/logo etc))

- Category Page - This layout will remain static (menu/header/logo etc) and only the Item/product section will change once the product is clicked on, leading to the landing page. We also require a frame (such as an iPhone shape) on the left hand side just below the header, that scrolls through pictures of different products and then links to them if clicked on.

- Item description
- Product Image (lightbox/fancy zoom with multiple images or 360 effect as seen in www.the-affair.com/shirt/deep-one/
- Video embed (youtube to start with)
- But it Now button that processes payment via PayPal or Credit Card Merchant Account (TBA)

Successful applicants must;

Supply links to your previous works that are similar to our design brief
Supply examples of CMS systems built
Have HTML/Ajax/Flash experience
Send completed mockup of 3 tier website prior to commencing (we will award you $40 extra for the mockup design) with various colour schemes
Have SEO experience and knowledge
Have excellent communication and English skills.
Have instant messaging and contact number
Send daily updates
Complete the project within the specified timeline - ie 14 to 21 days once awarded the project

As an employer we will;

Make complete payment on completion of project
Provide $40 additional for various colour schemes provided
Communicate and be available for you at all times possible
Answer all questions you may have
Aim to award you future projects if the current one is completed satisfactorily by both parties
