The objective is to make a web application in ASP.NET 3.5/ C#/Jquery that will allow for all sorts of calculation. For example, all academic related calculations such as basic math, finance, accounting, mortgage, and conversion calculation will be available along with calories counts, BMI calculations, stock markets, income tax calculation and currency exchange rates.More details r in the functional spec.

Most of the calculations are very straightforward additions, subtractions or multiplications. Only challenge the programmer will face is that some time he may have to add/delete controls textboxes vertically and horizontally in a dynamic manner. (see income statement page screenshot on page 7 below ). There must be two controls to add/delete rows and columns dynamically. An expert in asp.net can do this without much effort.

The project has been started and 3-4 calculations has been done already. The selected programmer needs to work on existing code base and finish of the project.

Exisiting code base is mostly done on Jquery. I would prefer a Jquery expert to finish off this project. if you cant do in jquery, ASP.NET update panel needs to be used to avoid post backs.

If not jquery, anything which is supported by asp.net 3.5 that avoids post back is welcome...

Please bid only if you are an expert in asp.net/ Jquery . An expert can finish the project very easily, but for an intermidate or newbie it will take time.


This time, I am interested in only in experts. If the coder does this project very weel, phase 2 of this project will also be given to him.

Since I had a hard time with another programmer in this project, I would like to see your expertise. please show me the implementation of this small module given below using an internet url.

three rows and three columns of textboxes.


when u type numbers in in the first 2 columns, sum of the values will be displayed in the third textbox. There will be a add column button . on clicking it, another column will be added to every row and when u put numbers in these columns, again their sum will be displayed in the third column.

You can use Jquery or asp.net ajax whichever technology u prefer to do this project. But there shud not be any post back.

If you can do this feature using postback only, please go ahead and do it and lemme know if this can be ajaxified using an update panel.

I dont need the code, just want to see this working on ur website.
