Require a system that will detect and sscore clay targets.

Due to the number of different events in clay target (DTl, Skeet, Trench, Double Trench etc etc) this will be split into 5 phrases:

Phrase 1:
DTL: Down the line
The system will record :
RED Light : MISS
Yellow Light : Broken Target before it is shot at (ie NO TARGET) no score and the target is target again
GREEN Light: HIT , Target is broken by the shooter (shot) and scored:

Double Barrel:
Shooter is allowed 2 shots at the target:
If Missed with both shoots, (ie the video system does not detect a broken target, the system will score : Zero (0) and RED light shown.
If target is hit with either the 1st or 2nd shot, the system will show GREEN light and score : 1

If target is broken (but not by shooter, if comes out broken)YELLOW light, and that target is delete and shooter is allowed to shot again.
(lights should show until the next target is thrown)

Single Barrel:
Shooter is allowed 1 shot at the target:
If Missed , (ie the video system does not detect a broken target, the system will score : Zero (0) and RED light shown.

Point Score:

Would be good to include a speaker that would call out:

1 for a hit,
Loss Target for a miss
No Target for a broken or No target thrown
1 for a hit with 1st shot in points score event
2 for a hit with 2nd shot in points score event
(
Phrase 2 , 3 4 and 5 will be for other events.

The system will score each shot for each shooter and then link to a computer program to allow for scoring and ranking.

IT WOULD HELP IF THE PROGRAMMERS OR LEAD DEVELOPER HAS SOME CLAY TARGET SHOOTING EXPERIENCE SO THEY UNDERSTAND HOW IT would be required to work.

If possible would like to setup the system so a video camera would be mounted on the Trap and a cable would link to a control box (or to a notebook computer for beta and testing phrases)
