Wanted: Director of User Experience and Talented UX savvy WEB APP Designer (PT ok) for Unusual High Positive Social Impact Social Venture

TITLE: DIRECTOR OF DESIGN & USER EXPERIENCE (negotiable title)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Make our site look great, and most importantly be an easy, exciting, and fun user experience.
➢ More specifically, though the various paths of the application will take into account the motivation to save/revitalize the relationship and communication skill abilities of the user, the interface has to help remove any psychological hurdles that a person may have about anything therapy-related, plus any general frustration the user might  have with computers. If it looks like work, it will feel like work, and the opposite as well. 
➢ Gender differences will also need to be taken into account
➢ Be aware of latest internet trends
➢ Able to conduct proper user research/usability audits with people to get a sense of emotional nuances, etc. needed in the interface. Someone who is good at listening. They need to be attentive towards any sensitivities, predilections, etc. in how the information is experienced.
➢ Freedom to help design identity, brand and goals

That is about to change with our unusual startup tapping the wisdom of the best experts and the wisest couples for your particular relationship issue. 

MISSION and MARKET: to become as much the site of choice for couples seeking to save, repair or significantly enrich their relationships, as the leading singles site (Match or POF) is the site of choice for singles seeking a mate.

Even more important than our web application's potential for reducing and preventing lots of relationship-based suffering, and making lots of money, is its potential for helping to prevent war, genocide and further global warming, since that is the personal mission of the founder—where his own profits will go.  We will be a social venture that puts LOVE together with JUSTICE AND THE PLANET. How delicious is that!

Our MARKET: the virtually untapped of at least 35M couples in US and Canada (and an equal number in Latin America) unhappy with their marriages/committed relationships, plus the millions of other couples who’d like to make their OK relationship a great one plus all those couples starting relationships on FaceBook and elsewhere. The perfect wedding and anniversary gift. By end of second year, we would hope to spread to Latin America and Europe.

> So this is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of potentially huge company (with two more related spin-off apps needing design once we get funding or are running in black), and to make a major positive difference for society and the planet, as well as to take the Internet to its next stage, from creating relationships, to sustaining and deepening them.

SCHEDULE:
We want to finish the beta for two big national potential strategic partner companies, as well as interested potential investors  by mid-June if possible. 

DURATION:Two to three months, but assuming we get funded, this could become regular part time job.

COMPENSATION:
Negotiable, but preferring as much on backend as possible.

REQUIREMENTS: 
1) Prefer US or Colombia based.  Will only consider non US designers if you have CEOs here we can call for refs, and preferably have a US area code number.
