I am looking to build a proof-of-concept for a location based iPhone application. The purpose of this first exercise is to evaluate the skills of a number of developers/programmers. It is important to note that I will be hiring multiple providers to build this proof-of-concept for me. I will then hire the best provider to build the rest of the application (whose scope will be significantly larger).

For this project, I need an iphone application that does the following:
1) Queries and display's the user's location in the app (in lat and long format)
2) Gives the user the option to upload their location to Facebook (via Facebook connect) and send their location via Twitter.

I am looking for a developer that has experience developing location based iPhone (and Android) apps. Experience dealing with GIS (mapping) data as well as Twitter/Facebook Connect will also be valued.

The cost for this first project should be low. I expect the follow on project (which will be awarded to the best provider) to be significantly more.
